Thomas Lollini named senior associate vice president, Physical Planning & Development
Thomas Lollini serves as SF State as the Senior Associate Vice of Physical Planning & Development/Campus Architect, since June of 2015. Tom was previously the Associate Vice Chancellor of Planning, Design & Construction at University of California Merced for nearly ten years. Tom has more than two decades of leadership experience in planning, design, and construction in the higher education, public, and private sectors. His projects and planning efforts, which have received over fifty regional and national awards for design excellence, leadership and sustainable design, have involved building community engagement and involvement in large, complex projects. He recently became a Thomas Jefferson Award recipient for Public Architecture in 2015. As Senior Associate Vice President for Physical Planning & Development, Tom leads one of the University’s largest and most dynamic divisions, which includes Facilities Service Enterprises, Capital Planning Design & Construction, and University Property Management. He earned a Master of Architecture with distinction from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is a registered Architect in the State of California and is a LEED Accredited Professional. Tom has also served as Adjunct Faculty at the UC Berkeley College of Environmental Design.
